I turned my passion for science into a career change.
Prior to becoming an informal educator, I worked at a South Jersey law firm for ten years in a secretarial/administrative role - I also waited tables at a few restaurants. While in school (and continuing to work full time) I volunteered at Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge and was employed seasonally (on weekends) for New Jersey Division of Parks.
Today, I'm a full-time park naturalist aiming to connect the general public with New Jersey's natural spaces. As a first generation college student, I hold a B.A. in biological science with a Minor in geographic information systems from Rowan University. I volunteer my time now to Saddler's Woods Conservation Association - a non-profit in Camden County.
Through effective and meaningful natural resource interpretation, I strive to expand ones understanding, appreciation, and sense of stewardship for our global ecosystems.
